The festival of lights, consists of the celebration of the 3 main races in Malaysia. The Hari Raya Aidilfitri which was celebrated by the Malays, The Mid -Autumn Festival by the Chinese and Deepavali by the Indians. These 3 festivals commonly falls on months of September and October (except Hari Raya which is based on the observation of the moon). This year, Hari Raya comes first, followed by Mid-Autumn Festival and finally Deepavali. There is one thing in common that we all celebrate light as the celebration of life :)
